Bradford J. Zampa

Professional Background
Bradford J. Zampa, Esq. leads Newmark Knight Frank Cornish & Carey Capital Group’s finance team in placing debt and equity on all types of commercial real estate products throughout the western United States. Prior to this executive appointment, Brad was founder and principal of C&C Capital in San Francisco, California where he closed over $3.5 Billion in structured debt placement. Brad was also a founder and principal of C&C Asset Advisors specializing in distressed asset sales, loan sales and loan workouts. In 2010, C&C Capital and C&C Asset Advisors merged into the Newmark Knight Frank Cornish & Carey Commercial Capital Group suite of services. Prior to founding C&C Capital, Brad worked at O’Connor & Fowler for seven years where he specialized in financing office, R&D, retail, industrial and multi-family assets with both institutional and high net-worth private investors throughout the western United States.

Over his 13-year career in real estate finance, Brad sourced, placed and closed over $6 Billion in commercial real estate transactions. Brad has established a noteworthy institutional and high net-worth client base and is predominately focused on transactions above $25 million. His capital sources include Wall Street investment banks, life insurance companies, pension funds, commercial banks, high yield debt funds, and opportunity funds. Brad has developed a specialization for sourcing the complete capital stack including senior mortgages, B-notes, mezzanine pieces and preferred equity. Prior to mortgage banking, Brad practiced real estate law with Wild Carey & Wife, and Sheppard Weisberg and Miller in San Francisco, California.

In addition to being a member of State Bar of California and the American Bar Association Real Property Division, Brad is a licensed California real estate broker. Brad’s roster of memberships include:

Education
Brad graduated from the University of San Diego in 1992 with a BS in both Business and International Relations. In 1994 Brad earned his JD with a real estate specialization at Golden Gate University and passed the bar in 1997.
