Erik Doyle

Professional Background
Erik is Executive Managing Director of the Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank Capital Group leading all western United States institutional investment sales. He is responsible for managing clients’ investment requirements throughout the west as well as facilitating investment connectivity to the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to this appointment in 2010, Erik was President of Cornish & Carey Commercial where he was charged with retooling the firm’s capital markets platform. He successfully implemented improved internal processes, recruited new talent and developed a strong team with a platform that is now nimble, focused and scalable to meet the needs of a global marketplace. Before joining Cornish & Carey Commercial, Erik was Executive Vice President at CBRE.

During his 26-year career, Erik has been involved with sales of over 35 million square feet of property and more than 700 acres of land representing a value in excess of $7.1 billion. Of Erik’s many transactions, he spearheaded the close of the largest office deal in Silicon Valley history -- the Peery Arrillaga Portfolio sale to RReef. He was the top producer within CBRE in Silicon Valley from 2004 to 2007,. A member of the Colbert Coldwell Circle, Erik was nationally ranked as one of the top sales professionals in CBRE’s Institutional Investment Group.

From 1998 through 2003 Erik was an Executive Vice President and Principal at Deerfield Realty Corporation where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the investment, development and management for a portfolio of Office, R&D/Flex and Industrial properties from San Francisco to San Jose. From 1984 through 1997, he was a Senior Vice President at Fox and Carskadon Commercial Services and Senior Vice President/Principal at CPS, Commercial Property Services.

Erik is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Belden Real Estate Club of California and the Board of the Partnership of New York City. Erik’s other accolades include:

Erik holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University.
