Stephen Rusher joined Cornish & Carey in April 2005. He currently focuses his business in retail landlord and tenant representation in Contra Costa and counties. He has a distinct knowledge of the rapidly growing East Contra Costa County where he publishes a successful newsletter on the commercial real estate market. In his career at Cornish & Carey, Stephen has worked with such landlords as Continental Retail Development, Capital and Counties and the Cranbrook Group. Stephen has assisted national, regional and local tenants in planning, relocation and expansion throughout the East Bay area. Some of his clients include Fed/Ex Kinkos, The Counter: Gourmet Burgers, Chaat Café, CLIX and Levende Lounge. Prior to joining the Walnut Creek team, he handled many different aspects of commercial real estate for Equity Commercial Properties Group/Sperry Van Ness in Pleasanton. Some of his responsibilities included capital placement for clients in a 1031 exchange and the direct management of over 100,000 square feet of commercial property. Stephen graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2003, with a degree in Political Science. Growing up in Contra Costa County, Stephen played on both the soccer and lacrosse teams at Miramonte High School. He continues to participate in numerous basketball, soccer and softball leagues in addition to being an avid golfer. |
