Jim Randolph joined Cornish & Carey Commercial in February of 1999 to head up a new division of real estate services. Prior to joining Cornish & Carey Commercial, Jim was the Regional Director of Retail Services for CB Richard Ellis managing the entire Bay Area. Jim is a Senior Vice President with over 25 years experience in the leasing and selling of retail real estate.

Jim specializes in both landlord and tenant representation. Jim’s landlord representation assignments have included General Electric, Opus West Corporation, Catellus Development, Paine Webber, Shea Properties, Keenan-Bariteau, Equity Office Properties, Target Corporation, Regency Retail, Blake Hunt Ventures, M&H Realty, Mozart Development, Federal Realty, Metropolitan Life, and RREEF. Tenant representation clients have included: Best Buy Electronics, Magnolia Hi-Fi, Target Stores, Nordstrom Rack, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Sports Chalet, Organized Living, Borders Books and Music, Babies R’ Us, Home Depot and Marriott Hotels.

Jim Randolph has been instrumental in increasing market presence for Cornish & Carey within the San Francisco Bay Area. His development achievements included Hacienda Crossings - a 470,000 square foot power/entertainment center in Dublin, The Shops at Bishop Ranch - a 98,000 square foot specialty-neighborhood center in San Ramon, the renovation of 700,000 square feet at Westgate Mall in San Jose, Marina Square - a 163,000 square foot outlet/off price center anchored by Nordstrom Rack which is located in San Leandro, McCarthy Ranch - a 700,000 square foot power center in Milpitas, Metro 580 - a 280,000 square foot power center in Pleasanton.

Currently Jim is participating in the leasing of some of the highest-profile listings in the Bay Area including: Pacific Commons in Fremont, Enterprise Landing in Alameda, Mission Bay in San Francisco, Avalon @ Mission Bay in San Francisco, Park Place in San Mateo, The Shops @ Waterford in Dublin, and Rivermark Village in Santa Clara.

Mr. Randolph has also been involved in a number of high profile retail investment sales in the Bay Area. These highlights include Capitol Square, San Jose - 368,000 square feet, Westgate Mall in San Jose - 700,000 square feet, The Marketplace on Stevens Creek in Cupertino - 85,000, square feet and Town and Country Shopping Center in San Jose which was a 325,000 square foot landmark property consisting of 38 acres in the Valley Fair district.
