Fernando Cuebas has over 15 years experience specializing in retail sales and leasing. He has developed his expertise by working in challenging and redeveloping areas, helping to initiate economic vitality. Having started his career in recessionary times, he learned how to work and obtain results. His tenacity and persistence has lent to his success in these areas contributing to his Top Producer status. Fernando joined Cornish & Carey Commercial’s Pleasanton office after spending more than 10 years with the Bay Area commercial real estate company of Meacham/Oppenheimer, Inc. Over the years he has focused on representing landlords and investors, in selling, ground leasing, and securing tenants for all different retail product types. He has also worked with owner/users in securing real estate for their businesses. His primary area of focus has been the Tri-Cities area (Fremont, Newark, Union City) where he was born and raised, as well as the Tri-Valley (San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore). In addition to marketing, Fernando assists landlords with creative solutions to challenging deals. He has worked with numerous private investors/owners, as well as developers, such as: Imwalle Stegner, Menlo Equities, Trumark Companies, Pacific Development Group, Shapell Industries of California and Duckett-Wilson Development Company. Fernando received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Real Estate Management from California State University, East Bay in 1993. When he is not working, Fernando enjoys traveling and outdoor activities. He has been involved with Team in Training for the benefit of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Bay Area Community Services, a non-profit organization helping the mentally handicapped and elderly. Fernando currently resides in the Tri-Valley area with his wife, Jessica. The couple welcomed in their first child in July 2007. |
