Joining the Cornish & Carey retail team in June of 2005, Damon brings a unique diversification of real estate experience. Since 1995 he has been an integral part of his families’ commercial property management and construction companies, where he developed a strong working knowledge of construction and facilities management; tenant and labor relations; and contract negotiations. Damon is a respected member of the Board of Directors of Scholl Construction Company, Inc. While pursuing his Business & Marketing degree, Damon interned with Keenan/Lovewell Ventures of Palo Alto where he participated in the conception, architectural planning and development of The Vineyard, a 131,000 square foot light industrial/office condominium project in San Rafael. Raised in Menlo Park, California, Damon attended Robert Louis Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, and completed his collegiate studies at Wartburg College in Iowa, where he was the catcher for their nationally ranked, Division Championship Baseball team. He is an avid outdoorsman and equestrian and spends much of his free time skiing, golfing, backpacking the high country, or riding the trails. Damon’s experience in management, development and athletics has provided him with sound interpersonal skills, a strong work-ethic and a respected professional presence; and his lifelong familiarity with northern California gives him a unique understanding of both merchant and consumer needs within the retail real estate market. |
